An independent calculator with nothing to sell you but itself

Gas or Plug is made and run by WeldonPC.com, a computer services company in the Cleveland, Ohio area. It answers one question people ask before a big purchase: what will this cost me to run, on gas and on electricity?

It sells no fuel, appliances, vehicles or generators, earns nothing from anyone who does, and is not connected with any utility, dealer, manufacturer or government agency. The prices it fills in are public U.S. government averages, named and dated on the method page.

gaspowered.info is only this site's web address. Gas or Plug is not connected with any other business that uses the words "gas powered" in its name.

Getting it right

If a number on this site looks wrong, the method page shows every formula and source, so it can be checked. Gas or Plug gives estimates, not quotes: for installation, venting, wiring or fuel-line work, use a licensed professional.
